Thank you SO MUCH for setting up this website. Southwestern managers are currently recruiting students at my university and I just finished my second-stage interview earlier this afternoon. I was nearly convinced of applying because I really want to build up my communication skills through that door-to-door selling experience, and I was so caught up in the glamour that I almost, ALMOST, made up my mind about actually doing it. After reading all the negative testimonials and the "truth" about the exploitations--I am really appalled at their tactics and their atrocity of targeting young students since they're easier to manipulate. All their crap about travelling and the experiences and the challenges that will "ultimately help the students" are all severe distortions to get us out of our own country so we'll have no idea about what's legal or illegal and no way to get help. I'm surprised that my university has allowed them to be here--I mean, won't they at least get "background checked"? This site isn't that hard to find. (If there's money behind all this--there is no hope in this world...) But anyway. Sorry about the rant. Thank you again for setting up this webpage! It saved me from a hellish summer as well as cold-blooded treatments. |
