Parent Says Manager Dropped the Ball
 August 6, 2008

How I wish I had found your web site before we allowed our son to go off to sell books this summer.  We thought we had done our research and trusted our son's "friend" was being honest.  Now 8 weeks later our son is in Stewartville, MN being told the same exact things your testimonials speak of.  When we are able to speak with him on the phone we can hear his "friend" in the back ground telling him what to say.

I actually called Southwestern Company today and spoke to the parent liaison and was given a song and dance. When my son gets home I would really like to try to do something about this company, but am unsure of where to begin.  Any suggestions you have would be welcome.  There should be a law that prohibits a company from brainwashing young students into creating a false need in order to line their own pockets.

My son was recruited his senior year of high school by his "friend."  When I spoke to Trey Campbell he seemed shocked to learn they were recruiting in the high school.  Said my son must really be what the "leader" was looking for and he must have really been impressed by my son.

What were we thinking to let him go, I only hope we can erase the brainwashing before heads off for his freshman year in college.

Thank you for letting me vent.  Please let me know what I can do to stop this company.
